FORECLOSURES  Colington Island is a quaint community that is located on an island in the Western part of Kill Devil Hills.  As you wind your way down several miles on Colington Road, you will find an area called Colington Harbour towards the end.  This is a great canalfront community with all the canals bulk headed..and the water is deep too!  Colington Harbor probably has the best canals on the Outer Banks.  If you plan on looking for a sound front investment and are a boating enthusiast, pay attention to the water depth in some areas.    Here you should focus to the northwest areas where water depth is greater. If you are not a boater and prefer a beautiful sand beach, there is something here for you too.  You will like some of the soundfront homes that have clean shallow water and an area to sunbathe.
