Kill Devil Hills Realty is centrally located in the mid-beaches of the Outer Banks. It is a very popular town for year round residents and rental property investor alike. It's location on the OBX makes it easy to travel north or south to reach all you vacationing services. The Wright Brothers Memorial which is located on the southern part of Kill Devil hills and has gone under some serious renovations over the years. You must also be careful when buying property close to the ocean. There are some great dunes lines in the Kill Devil Hills real estate world, along with some not-so-good dunes. Any easy way to know this is to see how big the dune line is on the beach. Natural sea oat grass that doesn't look like "hair plugs" is a good sign of a stable beachfront property.

Waterfront property is abundant here. Oceanfront and soundfront properties can be found in many subdivisions. There are some canalfront communities in Kill Devil Hills, but if you are looking for canalfront homes or land, you will have the most choices in Southern Shores and Colington Island and select parts of Nags Head.

The schools in Kill Devil Hills seem to be in high demand, so if you plan on living here as a full time resident you will have the added comfort that our schools are some of the best in North Carolina. All the schools here have been rebuilt over recent years.
