Nags Head North Carolina is a very well known beach resort area of the Outer Banks. History dates back to the 1800's and there are still a number of Old Nags Head style homes still around from that time period. Nags Head architecture remains a strong influence on the types of homes built everywhere on the Outer Banks.  As a town, ity is a well managed with many of the subdivisions maintaining covenants to keep the standards of the area high.  Nags Head realty remains in high demand. Although it can be a little busy during the summertime with the traffic flow to Hatteras Island and Roanoke Island (Manteo included). You have the best mix of restaurants from fast food to high end places such as Owens Restaurant. There is a lot of new commercial construction going on despite some moratoriums in place for building new single family homes. The commercial property sector of Nags Head has quickly grown over the past several years. There's a new moratorium in place for the development of new construction offices and complexes over certain square footages.
