The
North Carolina Outer Banks real estate landscape is an interesting
place today in our ever changing economic market.
Starting in Corolla (North Outer Banks) there seems
to be high competition among neighborhoods. The growth Corolla has
experienced in the past has provided some interesting investment
opportunities on the Outer Banks North Carolina. Due to the
increase in developing and new home construction in 2000-2005, there
is a healthy supply of properties on the MLS. It has flooded the
market with buyer's upside down on their investment mortgages;
sometimes as short sales and foreclosures. Moving south to
Duck NC, I see some great opportunities right in
the Village of Duck; some are in the nicest s
subdivisions the Outer
Banks North Carolina has to offer. Southern Shores NC is covered in
a lush Maritime forest. This water front community has many
canalfront, soundfront, and creek front property on it's Westside
presence. There is an indescribable appeal the real estate
lifestyle you get when living in this Outer Banks North Carolina
area. There's an interesting trend in waterfront here.
Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, and Nags Head provide the
backbone to year round living and can be most convenient to local
services both for the year round resident and vacationer alike.
Outer Banks Carolina considers these three areas to be the "middle
beaches." The Outer Banks North Carolina has a beautiful oceanfront
and beach. Whether you are a fisherman, surfer, sun bather,
kite surfer, wind surfer, or just a plain old beach bum, the Outer
Banks Carolina has the appeal of... "chill." If you have
never been to the OBX, then coming down to explore the rich history
and vacationing areas, is a must. Remember coming down in the
winter, will provide you with easier property access when looking
into real estate. Ask about my "drive-through" routes
